Hello CREW Members !

Spring is a time of growth and renewal, and it’s also a celebration of new thoughts and new relationships. As you embark on new journeys, I encourage you to make the time to build firm, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships at home and work (CREW).

However, we all know that relationships come with challenges. Because here’s the truth: Our lives and work rarely follow a straight line.   

And for that, I suggest that we consider our first relationship. The first relationship all of us had was with our biological mom. Interestingly, most organizations would benefit from having a GOOD MOM! Imagine what our world would be like with extra doses of:

  • Kindness
  • Patience
  • Active listening
  • Nurture
  • Support
  • Creativity and 
  • Humility

When we can’t access these traits within ourselves or our environments, it’s time to tap into some courage and ask for support. 

I am here to support you in deepening your work relationships and results. Whether you want to strengthen your existing team and partnerships or explore new opportunities, I am dedicated to fast-tracking your success.

Recently, we evaluated a team based on Patrick Lencioni’s Overcoming The Five Dysfunctions of a Team and created Embracing Accountability exercises and a balanced scorecard including, Financial, Customer, Employee, and Process SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant & Time-bound) goals. It’s beautiful to watch a team become more harmonious and productive! 

This month our community focuses on “Who Is On Your Crew,” In the best-selling book, Every Day Is Friday: ACTT Blueprint for Leaders & Entrepreneurs, we are in the “External Crew section.”   

Our guest speaker Allison Tabor reminded us that the best relationships start with self-awareness. She challenged the belief, “To get anywhere in life, you must be good at EVERYTHING.” Instead, Allison said, “It’s better to be great a BEING YOU than to be good at everything.”

Traci Miller also reminded us to ask our teams what they like to do best because shift happens when we leverage our team’s strengths. So, to do my part as one of your CREW MEMBERS,  I invite you to have deeper conversations with me and one another via the following invitations.

So, to do my part, I am welcoming deeper conversations for you to be one another’s CREW providing you with a few invitations:

First, I’ve asked Lisa and Angela to lead this month’s Crew exercise. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to meet before our next master class (June 6th at 8:30am EST) and get to know 3 things you did not know about one another so that you can introduce one another (members) during the next master class. Feel free to also meet with our guests to get to know them. They may be good fits and join our membership. Either way, you’ve made some good connections. This exercise and list are on pages 14, Crew In Action, and 15, Success Sister Circles, in this month’s presentation (below), and the contact list is (also below). I am here if you have any questions. 

Second, I encourage you to join Charlene, Jessica, Lisa, Lazara, and me during the June 21-23 Women’s Leadership Breakthrough Retreat in Boca Raton, Florida. This is truly a transformational experience. We’ve added more leadership, influence, strategic thinking exercises, and experiential activities. The breakthrough retreat is typically one of the most valuable parts of our program, so take advantage of this intimate and meaningful time together. Remember, I am only taking a handful of ladies on this adventure and early bird ends May 31st. So let’s chat. For a reason, this retreat is in your membership, so take advantage of this intimate and meaningful time together. But, again, I am only taking a handful of ladies on this adventure. 

Third, July 11th (the second Tuesday of the month due to the July 4th holiday) from 8:30-10:30 am EST will be a member’s only Master Class & Mastermind. Will we focus on Transformation. This class is a GREAT follow-up to the retreat. In this way, we can deepen our relationships and sustain our results.

These are valuable opportunities for connection, growth, and learning.
